- Native Forms (1) illustrates the range, diversity and function of art in traditional African societies. He depicts figures dancing and warriors in regalia, and sculptors and a cave painter creating their mediums. He highlights African spiritualism and religion by centering Shango, the Yoruba Orisha of iron and thunder.
